Salt pools add a salt reading (typically 2,700–3,400 ppm depending on the cell). Franklin's municipal fill water is moderately hard, so calcium is usually added rather than removed.

Weekly service is best for most Nashville-area pools; lightly used pools can be serviced every two weeks. Yes. Salt pools are still chlorine pools, so we test and balance the same parameters, track salt level and CYA, and inspect and clean the salt cell so it keeps producing chlorine.
